About the Opportunity

Auto Workforces Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor for a reputable automotive service facility in Hamilton, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, understand their vehicle concerns, and recommend appropriate repair and maintenance services.
• Handle incoming calls, customer inquiries, appointment bookings, and service scheduling.
• Prepare service estimates, work orders, and invoices accurately.
• Recommend additional repairs and preventive maintenance to customers while maintaining a customer-first approach.
• Coordinate with technicians and monitor workflow to ensure repairs are completed on time.
• Keep customers informed about repair progress, costs, and expected completion times.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and future maintenance services.
• Maintain accurate customer records, vehicle service histories, and declined or recommended services in the shop management system.
• Resolve customer concerns and complaints professionally and efficiently.
• Support daily front-counter operations and help maintain smooth shop productivity.
• Work collaboratively with technicians and management to achieve customer satisfaction and business performance goals.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Automotive Service Advisor in a dealership, independent repair shop, or automotive service centre.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional and customer-friendly approach.
• Good understanding of automotive repairs, vehicle maintenance, and service recommendations.
• Ability to explain technical information and repair estimates in simple terms.
• Strong customer service, sales, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.
• Ability to coordinate with technicians, manage workflow, and meet customer deadlines.
• Proficiency with computers and willingness to learn automotive shop management or POS systems.
• A positive attitude, ethical work practices, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
